i recently had a new built computer, when i installed mozilla firefox i also downloaded and installed download helper, i used this add on so many times to download clips off the net, not just on you tube, but when i went on the net i noticed that the toolbar at the top of the screen is all different and there is no animated balls spinning when i play a video indicating it can be downloaded, on youtube the animated balls are there but not on my toolbar, they are on youtubes page itself...

Right click a blank part of the Tab bar and then click "Customize". A panel will open and in there you'll find the "Activity Indicator" (the spinning balls). Drag that button onto the toolbar along with anything else you think might be useful.

You can also remove elements you don't want by dragging them into that panel.

Also, while the panel remains visible, you can drag elements like toolbars and buttons around and place them wherever you wish.

If you want to move tabs to below the location bar where you normally type in a search term, right click the Tab bar again and then click "Tabs on top" to remove the checkmark. Tabs will subsequently reappear below the location bar.

The status bar was removed in Firefox 4, but you can get it back by installing this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
