With the newest updates some extensions were disabled because they are incompatible but there is no button on the extension to remove it. Why? How do I remove it?

Chosen solution

Extensions that do not have a "Remove" button are installed by other software and are not under control of the Firefox extension manager.
Extensions installed that way need to be removed via the settings (preferences) in the program that added the extension to Firefox.
