Hi sidA,

First off, congrats on choosing Firefox! You won't be sorry. Have you installed applications on your Mac before? If you have, the process should be super easy. If the actual application of Firefox is on the desktop, just double click on it to start browsing.

If you've just downloaded the installer, you should take a look at the How to download and install Firefox on Mac Knowledge base article. If the file the ends with .dmg doesn't open on its own, just double click on it.

We've also gathered a collection of Getting Started guides. They should help you with the basics. The Knowledge Base has a lot of information. If you have any questions, try searching the Knowledge Base first. If you can't find the answer there, just post your question here on the forums and one of the SUMO volunteers will help you!

Good luck!
