How do I turn off the suggestions for usernames and other fields? When I log into an email account or enter information into a form, Firefox will suggest information based on what I've entered in the past. How do I turn this off?

hello summsumm, go to firefox > options > privacy & chose "Use custom settings for history", then you can disable the storage of form data. Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms

in case firefox is filling in the password automatically too, you can change that in the security tab (also in the options panel). Password manager - Remember, delete, change and import saved passwords in Firefox

Note if you do not wish to turn this feature off but only remove outdated or incorrect suggestions: then when you see the dropdown list, highlight the item, and use the keyboard delete key.
