OS: Windows 7, Firefox: newly updated 22.0 (Thanks a lot :( ).

I opened a bunch of pictures off Ancestry.com, and they all opened in a separate windows. Four times now, I've opened firefox. CLOSED ALL TABS, closed Firefox. Then, when I reopen FIrefox, all of those pictures are reopened.

How do I close the tabs? I don't want zombie tabs that always rise from the dead. When I'm done with them, I don't want them open again. It takes a long time to open up all these pictures. It's a PAIN.

I don't like the new release.

Hello,

Please try the following:

If none of these helps then please try starting Firefox in Safe Mode. This will test whether any installed add-ons are causing the issue. If it works fine in Safe Mode then you should follow the safe mode instructions and disable all your add-ons. Then re-enable them one by one testing as you go.

I hope that helps. Let me know if not.

You can check if you have an user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.
