hello, are you using the latest version of firefox for android? the tablet interface for 7 inch devices should have landed in firefox 22 already...

on tablets (to my knowledge at least in landscape mode) the number of open tabs will be displayed on the top left site, whereas on phones this information is on the top right - so this part should be a good indication of which version you're getting.
