Adobe Flash updated yesterday (12-11-14) and now no videos work - YouTube, Huffington Post & Packers.com just give me blank white space where a video should be.

I just updated RealPlayer and that didn't fix the problem.

I checked that all my add-ons are active and up-to-date; they are.

What else can be done to fix this?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

None of those worked, and for reasons known only to Ziggy, I cannot restore my computer - every time I try I get a "Unable to restore" message. No matter what date I try to restore to.

And it's affecting other sites, as well - I tried going to AccuRadio and it told me Flash wasn't detected (Even though it's installed and active) and none of the music would play. And Radio Margaritaville, which gives an option of SiriusXM, HTML5 or Flash, won't work, either.
