The youtube downloader/converter does not appear anywhere that it can be used when trying to download a video on youtube. This was not a problem in the older versions of Firefox. I used the restore option to show add-ons but it didn't work and nothing is visible unless I click on the menu which contains the add-ons option. Nothing is visible at the bottom of the page as suggested.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Ken

When you check under Add-ons, do you have your downloader installed?

If it's listed there you may just need to enable it, otherwise just install it again. Could be it wasn't synced with the rest of your data.

  • Click the menu button New Fx Menu and choose Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
  • In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Extensions or Appearance panel.
  • Select the add-on you wish to enable.
  • Click its Enable button.
  • Click Restart now if it pops up.
