Firefox will not open store flyers. How do I fix this?
I receive e-mails from several retail outlets each week with links to their weekly flyers. Firefox will not open these, It will also not open flyers if I go to the retailers website and attempt to open the flyers section. I've been using Chrome to open them. I am using Windows 10. I've tried disabling all add-ons etc, no change.

What happens? Error messages?

Many bulk mail messages use indirect links that are routed through a tracking server. If you use any anti-tracking features or add-ons, or if you block redirects, it's possible those links will fail.
You can check the redirect warning here:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste access and pause while the list is filtered
(3) If the accessibility.blockautorefresh preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to true, double-click it to restore the default value of false
Does that help?
Regarding the built-in Tracking Protection feature and how to use the "shield" icon to detect and undo blocking, see: What happened to Tracking Protection?.
One other thought: many magazines and other print publications are posted online using a Flash-based viewer.
Firefox 55 may have switched your Flash setting from "allow all sites without specific permission" to "require individual site permission." To check whether the site is allowed to use Flash, while you're on that page with an error or missing content area, you can either:
(1) click the plugin notification icon toward the left end of the address bar (typically a gray icon that looks like a small Lego block) -- this should drop a panel that tells you whether Flash is currently allowed and lets you update the permission
(2) call up the Permissions panel of the Page Info dialog using any of these:
- right-click (Mac one-button mouse: Ctrl+click) a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Permissions
- (menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info > Permissions
- click the padlock or "i" icon to the left of the site address, then the ">" icon, then More Information > Permissions
The top section is plugin permissions. To always allow the site, change from "Use default" to "Allow". The change is saved when you make it, so you can just close this panel after that.
Success?
