So I have an addon that doesn't work, so I'm trying to do a bug report. The problem is that when I press a button on the addon nothing happens, something is suppose to happen. And I can't just file a bug report that nothing happens when I press the button.

I found the about:debugging, but it doesn't give me an error or message when I press the button. So is there a way to find out what happens when I press that button, and why nothing happens when something is suppose to happen?

Add-ons are not made by Mozilla. Mozilla only approves them for use with Firefox and provides the Developer with a page to distribute their Extension from.

So, as to if this is a bug report to be filed with Mozilla or is it a bug that needs to be followed up with the Developer. I would suggest going to the Developers Support page and have a look around and there will also be contact info.

Since you are running a Beta or Nightly version then this issue could be fixed by release. If the Developer does not know of the issue they would appreciate the info.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

There is the Mozilla-comunity Add-ons support fora over here: https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/add-ons

I have seen a few threads there where 3rd party add-on developers provided support there.

And http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=48 has support threads for many different add-ons.
