Instead of getting a web page I get what looks like binary symbols on this one site
Red Hat Linux Enterprise 6.9
Firefox 52.5.0
URL: http://www.fbpurity.com/install.htm
Screen shot attached.
When I go to the web site above I get what looks like binary symbols instead of a web page.
I don't ( and can not ) have flash installed.
I have another computer where I have Firefox 58 and the site renders fine.
On this computer I tried downloading Firefox 58 and when I try to run it I get this error message
XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /home/sfjar/Downloads/firefox/libmozgtk.so:
libgtk-3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.
Could that missing library be the problem for Firefox 52.5 ?
Thanks

Go to about:config by typing it in your URL bar, then search for security.sandbox.content.level - change the value to 1 - this will fix the text issue.
This would normally happen if there is a an issue with the encoding and the HTTP response headers do not include the correct encoding. That way you can see gzip or otherwise compressed content instead of the real content.
You can check the network.http.accept-encoding prefs on the about:config page to see if they are default (http: gzip, deflate and https:gzip, deflate,br).
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Clear the cache:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

I do not have that variable in my about:config:
security.sandbox.content.leve

Did not help. I will try restarting in Safe Mode
security.sandbox.content.level would possibly only help if there is an issue with accessing a specific font, but your case looks different like I wrote above.
Did you try my above suggestions?
You can also check the Network Monitor for the request and response headers and the server response.

Tried Safe Mode, didn't help. It is only that one site, I'm wondering what could be on it that could be contributing to the problem.
Verify that you meet the System Requirements (GTK+ and GLib) for the Firefox release you want to use.
I started Firefox in safe mode again, and noticed this output on boot up ( navigating to the page caused no output):
