Hi, I am running Firefox 59.0.1 manually installed on debian 9.2 (stretch) and found it unable to run WebGL code.

What is strange (to me) is that with debian firefox-esr (52.7.2) package, WebGL runs well!!

The message I get on firefox quantum, e.g. when going at http://math.hws.edu/eck/cs424/graphicsbook2018/demos/c3/axes3D.html is: «Sorry, an error occurred, cannot create WebGL context for canvas».

Please tell me if there is anything I can do to solve this. Thank's,

Frédéric Baldit.

Check here, your guess is as good as mine. Turn on Hardware Acceleration. Stuff here : https://www.google.ca/search?q=firefox+webgl&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=ab62Wqy_PIuA-gSl5YHwDA

Telling me to google "firefox webgl" is not frankly interesting: you could easily guess that I tried it before posting...

Then I would suggest you go to a Linux forum and find out.
