Save Login after Refusing to Save Login?
I have checked "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" under Options/Privacy and Security/Logins and Passwords. Suppose that for one site Firefox for Windows does not ask and will not save my login credentials. This might happen, for example, if I had previously told it NOT to save logins for this site and then changed my mind. If that were the cause, how could I make Firefox forget my previous instructions and resume asking?
I have a similar problem with Firefox for Android. Is the solution the same there?

Hi, this should tell you all you need to know : Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox.
Android is less comprehensive, but see: Manage saved passwords in Firefox for Android
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please help other users by marking the best reply as Solved. Thank you!

Well it does reference this one, which appears relevant (though it does not translate to the Android version): https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/usernames-and-passwords-are-not-saved

This one was not relevant to my specific question. (Note that Firefox for Windows WILL save the login for the troublesome site there.) -- jclarkw

Yes. That's not it. -- jclarkw
Well something isn't set right as I have 64.0.2 and it can save login/password without issues.
Check the list for Exceptions - Saved Logins and remove that domain from that listing.

Yeah, I got that from Scribe's link earlier in the thread, which solves the Windows part of my problem.
But there appears to be no such option in Firefox for Android, my primary concern.
My thread over in the Android section (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1247269) seems to be getting ignored. Can one of you take a look at that and/or suggest what to check next? -- jclarkw
