Email sending errors
My boss ... @arbroglobal.com is having a lot of difficulties with sending his email. We have been experiencing the following error messages:
1. To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message
2. Sending Message Error Sending of the message failed The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) stmp.gmail.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again
3. The Connection to the smtp.gmail.com takes five or more minutes to send
4. Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent Mail) due to network or file access errors You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent Mail-keckert@arborglobal.com
We have tried everything form rebutting our modem to getting rid of Bitdefender. These problem continues to even happen on his laptop not just on the PC we have in the office. We have had our IT guy look at it and we have tried to reset the setting and nothing seems to be working. Please advise on what we need to do to fix this problem as it has become for time consuming to send an email and then later find hat it hasn't been sent or waiting up to five minutes for an email to send. Myself, my boss and and IT guy have gone thru all the tutorials you provide on your website and none of those have fixed the problem
edited the email from public and search spam/bots view.

Is this a GSuite account? What are the smtp settings? They should be smtp.gmail.com on 465, SSL/TLS, or 587, STARTTLS, OAuth2 authentication, User Name = email address. Errors with sent copies are often because 'Place a copy in' in the Copies & Folders section of Account Settings is checked; uncheck it because gmail automatically copies sent messages to Sent Mail. Add the TB profile folder as an Exclusion to whatever antivirus app you have to avoid 'middle of transaction' errors.
We tried that but its also happening on his laptop as well. Is there something between Gmail accounts and Thunderbird?
Gmail accounts should work by following the above instructions, but if there's a 3rd party security app interfering, it might block the connection. Turn off the VPN, as well, if there is one, as they usually block the authentication with the mail server.
