Body text does not show danish special letters æøå, but a "?"
Hello, Body text does not show danish special letters æøå, but a "?" I only have this issue with 1 sender. I contacted the sender, and of course they claim, it's a problem with my email client. I have searched everywhere for at solution, but most posts are several years old, and Thunderbird has changed a lot since then. I have looked in preferences, under language and appearance, but anything I have tried, haven't helped. I have added pictures, one of the email body text, and one of with part of the source code i find relevant.
Some solutions mentioned in old posts, says to change the text encoding for incoming emails, but it is nowhere to be found in the preferences tab.
Hope someone can find a solution to this issue for me :)
Thanks

Does the sender use TB and send from a Yahoo-based account? Check the source (Ctrl+U) for User-Agent.
No, there is no user-agent in the source. I don't think the problem is on the sender side. It might be my AV that messes the email up in some way?
Update to 91.3.2 and try View/Repair Text Encoding, as this option was fixed in the release. Otherwise, this add-on might help choose the correct encoding:

I don't think it's the AV, but if a sender sends with TB through a Yahoo server, it's well-known to affect character encoding unless a preference is changed.
Yes, the repair text encoding, does fix the issue, but not permanently. How is it, that Thunderbird doesn't automatically detect the right encoding, since it should? or am I missing something...
The lack of permanent setting is explained here:

Well, not much of an explanation. I guess I will just have to live with it.
