The Adobe Flash player is EOL for several years now.

Please explain the problem in detail. What does/dosn't happen? What are the exact error messages?

FredMcD, thank you for your reply. What does EOL mean? My specific inquiry is about web site's being able to identify me, or my computer. Does Firefox have any security protocols that can inhibit a web site from identifying me or my computer? Thank you.

I use a cleaner (Bleachbit) to remove what it calls HTML5 cookies in Firefox. None are ever shown these days.

Hi Terry, thank you for your reply. Does removing HTML5 cookies from my browser make it so a web site either can't or has more difficulty in determining my computer or me? Does changing my IP address help the situation? Any suggestions? Thanks

Dropa, Thanks for your reply. I guess bottom line, your not a advocate of removing HTML5 cookies or using beachbit. You made a prior statement, "Beyond a VPN or Proxy IP". I would presume using a VPN or proxy IP, (which I believe using a VPN is a proxy IP)?, might help or solve the problem I'm trying to accomplish? If I were to use a VPN which I presume is going to show a different IP address than my original IP address, that would help and make it more difficult to see my personal computer from one visit to the next on the same web site. Would you concur or am I all wet? Other than a IP address, how does a web site identify me, or my personal computer? Can you please explain, Dropa. Appreciate your help and patience. I'm not the most computer literate person. Thank you, Dropa.

I never had a problem after removing them but, as I say, I don't see any listed in Bleachbit these days so perhaps Firefox isn't storing them.
