I have amassed a collecti0n of over 1000 bookmarks. is there a tutorial anywhere to learn how to manage those bookmarks. Like in: a.keep them under specific folders... what are the steps to move a bookmark to the inside of a folder. or ... b.list them in alphabetical order. c How do I get the system to allow me to add a new bookmark at the top of the list instead of the very bottom? d. How could one scroll down on a long list of saved bookmarks without having to go with the cursor one line at a time? Additionally: if I wanted to keep a list of all the websites addresses, is there a way to save that list as a file or a print out? e. where do all those bookmark addresses get saved on, should I wanted to go and make a duplicate of that list? In which sub-folder of Firefox are they kept

On another note: Is it possible to request an email to be sent to my address when 1. someone answers My posting? 2. how can i keep track of the history of my posted questions and the thread of those questions?

Thank you kindly for whomever may offer any detailed help

b. Sort Places extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9275/

c. Sorry, I don't know how to do that. When I want to save a new bookmark to a specific location in one of my bookmark folder I just drag the website image (from the URL bar or that tab) into that folder and position.

d. You can use the "up" and "down" arrow keys to quickly scroll the Bookmarks menu bar drop-down; highlighted bookmark folders can be opened by the right arrow key and you can scroll that folder with the down arrow key. When the bookmark you want to open is highlighted you can open it with the Enter key, or {Ctrl + Enter} to open it in a new Tab.

e. Your Bookmarks (and browsing history) are stored in the places.sqlite file in your Profile folder. Five daily backups of yoir Bookmarks are stored in the \bookmarkbackups\ folder in your Profile folder.
