Firefox 4 RC2 seems to have a problem correctly displaying. Small to large black boxes appear all over it, and change places when I move my mouse. Sometimes the whole screen goes black. Never had that problem before.
When I uploaded it, it said it had a problem with the detection of my logitech update program for my mouse. I reinstalled the version 3.6.15 so that I could use firefox again. Never has been a problem with this like that.

You can try disables hardware acceleration.
If that works then check if you can find an update of your graphics display card driver.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

It worked! I had previously installed the latest updates for my graphics card driver, and followed your instructions to disable hardware acceleration for firefox and now no more blackness of firefox. Thanks
It does work, and fixes other weirdness like issues on facebook. However you need to restart Firefox for it to take effect as simply reloading a page after changing the setting made no effect.
I definitely have a problem with popup menus and firefox 4. Eg, the menu that pops up is blank, or flickers in and out as i navigate the entries.
BUT, this only happens on my 2nd monitor; on the 1st monitor it's fine. I noticed this on 2 different computers. When i revert to firefox 3, everything is fine.
This is on windows 7, 64-bit.
