Do you get any other search web pages when you try to use that search box?

"Something" is messing with Firefox and removing Google as the search engine (and removing the Google logo) on the about:home default homepage and substituting another search engine (usually Ask, IIRC) .

not sure what u mean, but if i go to another website the search works.. even the the on the top right, its the home page, any ways to fix it? I downgraded back to the older version of firefox, and no probs
