I have edited the internet options in control panel to get the homepage and tabs i want to come up when i open firefox but they are not coming up when i open the browser. How do i get them to apply to firefox so i can get the homepage and tabs i want?

The settings you changed only effect Internet Explorer you can change Firefox's Home Page setting by following these instructions How to set the home page .

I did as it said and dragged my new home page to the icon and said yes, however it does not take. When I reopen it stays as the old website. Can't figure. Since my son did this to me , I probably will never figure it out.
