I don't want My Web Search or any part of it on my computer. Keyword URL drives me nuts. My Web Search has hi-jacked my choice of search engine and it appears on the new tab. I thought I had got rid of it until Firefox updated to the newest version, and it is back. I believe My Web Search is malware. I spent all day yesterday trying to get rid of it adn it is still there.
