google calendar not functioning correctly where it has always worked before but google doesn't know why do you can you help me i won't add or edit appointments

I am using Firefox 19 google calendar worked on firday but this is monday and now it will nor function. it will not allow me to create new or edit old appointments in my google calendar while using firefox. but if i open the same calendar in chrome it works fine. but i wish to to firefox can you tell me what chould be worng.I looked at the add ons and I don't think i have any enabled at all.

hello teresa, i'd consider some of your installed addons adware/malicious. it's probably best to reset firefox & see if this fixes the issue (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords): Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
