I'm pulling up contacts from somebody else's email account.
When going into my contact list, my daughters email contact list from work shows up.

Firefox doesn't have a "contact list" - Firefox doesn't do email.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

Are the computers or the e-mail accounts synced?
You should contact your e-mail provider.
I don't know how to sync an account. Don't even know what this means.
