A problem with my wife's computer required that hard drive be "wiped" and reformatted. We have reinstalled everything but in the process lost the part of her Fire fox profile that contained her bookmarks. I found all of the bookmarks elsewhere on her hard drive in a "Favorites" folder. The Favorites folder contains a number of sub folders each of which contains the URL's of her bookmarks.

Is there any way to convert the Favorites folder (and all of its sub folders) into a ".json" file so that I can restore the bookmarks into Foxfire?

THANX

The Favorites folder is the folder that Internet Explorer uses to store its favorites (bookmarks). If that folder is in its default location then you can try to import the IE favorites via the Firefox import wizard.

I was able to recover the "Favorites" files into MS Edge. Then I followed the procedure for "Importing from another browser". Firefox "worked" for a few seconds and appeared to "Import" but the "From Microsoft Edge" folder is empty.
