Awesome Bar suggestions pop down without me typing anything into the Awesome Bar when I exit tablet mode (Windows)

When I take my X1 Yoga out of tablet mode, the Awesome Bar suggestions pop down without me typing anything into the address bar.

In order to get rid of it, I have to type something into the Awesome Bar and delete it.

I'm using Firefox on Windows 10 and it only happens when exiting tablet mode, not when entering.

Does anyone else have a similar issue or workaround?

Sounds like a O/S issue not a Browser caused issue.
