I am restoring the local folders after a system reset. Thunderbird shows all the local folders, but not the emails in them. How do I get it to do that?

more options

I have backed up my "Local Folders" folder (with all the rest of Profiles) before resetting my PC. I restored them by copying Local Folders by hand them into the Profiles/xxxxxxxx.default/Mail folder. All the Local Folder subfolders appear on the left hand side of TB, but they do not display the emails. The emails must be there, as some of these subfolders are large (>150MB). How do I get these back? They are work emails and i need them ! I hope someone can help with this plea !

Thank you Jeremy

What happens if you right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button.

I tried this and nothing happened. Any suggestions of additional steps I can take?
