Hi,

I have a 16:9 aspect ratio webcam (a Sony A6300 connected to a HDMI to USB adapter, output 1920x1080 with 30fps). This camera setup works correctly with programs such as Skype, Zoom and the windows camera app, but it does not work with Firefox.

Instead, Firefox takes my webcam feed and squeezes it into a 4:3 aspect ratio, making my head having the wrong proportions. I have checked this on various websites, from webcam test websites to video conferencing tools, all with the same result. This leads to me the assumption that the problem lies with Firefox. I have checked the settings and found nothing, and Google gave me an unanswered question on Reddit with the same problem and some results aimed at web developers.

My Firefox version is 84.0 and I am running Windows 10 (Windows_NT 10.0 18363).

Best regards and have nice day.
