In an earlier version of Thunderbird in the Calendar, I used to be able to double-click on an event on the Calendar, and it would go directly to the Edit window. Now, it opens up an intermediate window and from there I have to click Edit. This UI change slows down my workflow in updating events. Is there a setting I can change to revert back to the previous behavior? When I double-click, I always want it to go to the Edit window. If the setting doesn't exist, could one be added?

I don't think there's an easy way to revert to the old behaviour, but there is a slightly complex way:

There is another workaround: select an event in the Events & Tasks/Find Events pane, press Enter.
