I have been using my iPad for about two weeks now and have been noticing that I can't open some pdfs. In the file browser they appear without a preview and if I click on them nothing appears (see Image).

Since then I've tried to find out how that happens and have noticed, that whenever I download a pdf in Firefox with my iPad via: - Opening the pdf in Firefox - Clicking on the context menu on the topright with the three Bars_ - Clicking Share - Clicking on Save to Files - Proceeding to save the pdf at whatever place

I've also tried click on Open in GoodNotes after clicking on Share, what is where I first noticed this problem, because then I get some mysterious error message saying something like "Unable to Import: Import Failed: Cannot open URL at file ....".

It seems to me as if the PDFs I download via the Firefox browser on my iPad seem to be broken somehow. I have also tried different sources in the web and wherever I download a pdf with the Browser the same issue appears.

Whenever I download PDFs with Safari I dont face that problem, however I'm a quite happy Firefox Desktop user and have been for a lot of years now and as such I would not like to have to use Safari on my iPad.

I have also tried restarting my iPad multiple times and have reinstalled the Firefox app and looked for updates. Furthermore I am a 100% sure those files I have in my File Browser or rather am downloading via Firefox are in the right format in this case PDF.

Thank you in advance, Raoul

PS: Since the uploading images feature doesn't seem to work for me I will upload the images afterwards

The first picture shows the Error when importing into GoodNotes directly and the second one shows what it says when I open the PDF I downloaded via Firefox from the Files app on my Ipad
