I just updated to Firefox 3.6.8

In 3.6.4, when I opened a new tab by clicking on a link, the tab would open to the far right of the tab bar. Now it opens a new tab directly to the tab I currently have open.

Is there an option where I can change this back to when it opened the new tab to the far right?

A couple of options:

Install the New Tabs at the End add-on.

Change a hidden preference. Type about:config into the location bar and press enter. Accept the warning message that appears, and you will be taken to a list of preferences. Locate the preference browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent and double-click on it to change its value to false.

I used the second option you suggested, Quarantine, and it worked beautifully.

Thank you, AJ
