Downloads Window Goes Blank After Download

After a file downloads, the downloads window goes blank. Previously the file remained in the window so that I could click it to install the download.

I think you mean disappears.

You can bring it back with Ctrl+J

The change was on purpose. Come to think of it it does not always disappear when the download completes, maybe clicking on it preserves it.

I found the solution. I needed to check the box for "Remember Download History" under Options/Privacy. This did the trick.
