because: 1) I forgot my FIRST username, and that account uses my correct email address, which made me use a different one for the second account (this one), which leads to cause #2: 2) Live.com has changed their protocols; I can no longer log into the account I used to register THIS Firefox Support account because I am routed to a DIFFERENT account there that I had to create because the FIRST account there became unavailable to me, and just you try getting support from Microsoft!

The email address associated with this account is no good. The GOOD email address YOU won't allow me to use..AND IT'S MINE!!!

If you have problems to login to Windows Live (Outlook) then try to clear the cookies for login.live.com.
If you use a bookmark the try to navigate starting from the login page.

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
