what are the curved arrows left of inbox messages
Would like to know the meaning of the small colored curved arrows to the left of the incoming email subject lines, and can they be used to indicate something . It looks like the purple arrows point to the left and the blue ones point to the right I don't seem to find anything about them or their use .Also would like explained the use of the paper clip and star emblems beside the arrows .

- means you have 'Replied' to that email.
blue ones point to the right:
- means you have 'Forwarded' that email to someone.
