i have been viewing pdfs in the built in viewer for months...As of yesterday it asks to download the pdf i have tried all the things i can find online i do not have any options to view in built in viewer or firefox only acrobat did you stop supporting this?

Firefox uses its own pdf viewer by default. Support for that has not ended.

I am not a Mac user myself. I am not sure whether the plugin shown as

  • "View PDF documents within your web browser. "

Is in fact an additional plugin you may have installed.

sadly i have read both those articles and i do not have the view in firefox or have the option to use an additional plugin only options avail are use acrobat pro or always ask or the old NPAPI plugin which i heard no longer works with version 35.0... any other options to get it to work again?
