After upgrading to TB38.2 I discovered that the Lightning calendar in one of my profiles works but in the other profile the UI just flashes and the calendar is not visible / is not usable. So, I have:

Win 8.1

Profile with no issues: Only Lightning 4.0.2 addon

Profile with issues has these addons: Lightning 4.0.2 Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4 Lookout 1.2.13

Currently I have disabled these last two add-ons; then I removed and reinstalled Lightning, but no change.

Any suggestions please?

I've never understood the motivation to work with multiple profiles. What do you achieve by doing this? I use it for testing beta versions, but it's painful. I wouldn't ever choose to use Thunderbird this way for routine emailing purposes.

But more to the point, how do you choose between your two profiles? It may be the way you launch the second one that causes the problem.

I use the Profile Manager to launch whichever profile I want to use.
