I cannot allow cookies, just delete them. I cannot find a heading called "Preferences" and the privacy page does not allow the option of adding "cookies". Google Play said its cookies are blocked. What gives? tony999

Hi tony666, Firefox follows the platform convention on how you access the Preferences:

Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences

Or you can type or paste about:preferences in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.

Google Play said its cookies are blocked. What gives?

Good question. It's possibly a problem with not allowing third party cookies if Google needs to access one of its other domains to sign you in on Google Play. This article has more on cookie settings: Websites say cookies are blocked - Unblock them.
