I am having problems logging in to YouTube or any google account. The buttons just don't seem to do anything like they should or used to.

The problem doesn't seem to extend to Chrome, which has ruled out some possibilities, however I have attempted many solutions in an effort to ensure it isn't anything else before seeking help here.

Attempted solutions with no success: -Restarting Firefox -Restarting computer -Disabling all my extensions and running Firefox in safe mode -Running multiple anti-malware and antivirus software, as recommended in the article provided by Mozilla support. Found some pieces of adware and several tracking cookies, but removing them has had no effect. -Forgotten the login sites preferences

While it isn't absolutely necessary to get in to my account, it is very much a nuisance, and I would really like to find a solution.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my problem.

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
