i use the search function a lot and it always groups in to threads, but some emails are set to different people so this thread grouping isn't the best way for it to show, i have turned the threaded view off for the normal inbox but every time i search i have to go in to view > sort by > unthreaded - There must be an easier way, can anyone help it is doing my head in trying to work it out. Thanks in advance.

Which search function are you using? Global Search doesn't go straight to a list that uses threading, so if you're using this, you must be going on to "open email as list".

That search results window is somewhat intractable. I often have to add a column to see which account a message was found in and it never remembers this setting for next use. I suspect your threading/unthreaded issue is related.
