I have MSN.com set as my homepage and have the Mozilla MSN.com homepage extension installed. Recently graphics have been slow to load and links do not load properly. When I click on a link it opens to another tab with only the title of the article and the time it was posted. It does not show the article itself. If I reload the tab two or three times it usually will load the article. This started in the last couple of weeks. I am running Firefox 60.0 x 64 and it says no updates are available so I am apparently up-to-date with them.

Thanks for getting back to me, Fred. Starting in safe mode did not help and if anything made things worse. There is no shield next to padlock. Graphics are slow to load and some do not load at all. When I click on a news headline it opens to a new tab but does not show the article, only the person who posted it and how long ago it was. If I reload the tab once or twice it will load the article. I tried yahoo.com and everything seems to load fine there so it appears to be some kind of conflict with MSN.com.

Not sure why this is showing as having resolved my issue but it has not.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}
