Firefox 88.0, Win 10: When attempting to restore my bookmarks the individual bookmarks do not go to the folders and sub folders I have. Instead the folders load empty and all the specific individual bookmarks load individually outside of any folders that they were originally classified in.

The MSEdge browser may have all your FF user data. Open it up and see if you find it. If so, then you can import that data into FF. However, I would create a new FF profile to receiving this user data; since we cannot know how much you have done on the current FF profile.

Tks for your response. There are no bookmarks in my MSEdge or Chrome. I do have 2 JSON files saved as FF bookmark back-ups.

ok. I think thats good news that you have those 2 files.

So lets wait for the experts to see that you have these 2 files and await for their intructions on how to use them.

Or you could do a search for that file extension and find their posts on them.
