I'm using Google Calendar on Thunderbird 78.11.0 with Provider for Google Calendar. I have an event that is over a month old that I just cannot get rid of. I've deleted the event on Google Calendar. However, it continues to pop up on Thunderbird's Calendar with the note that I can "Delete Anyway" or "Discard My Changes and Reload". I've tried both....repeatedly. This pesky event just keeps coming back over and over again.

I'm guessing this event is stuck in some event file locally, I just don't know where to look.

Can anybody help?

Larry

Try disabling the Provider add-on and add the calendar directly as a CalDAV calendar:

I disabled the google add on and reconfigured as CALdav. I could not find where to set the OAuth2 in Authentication. So far it does not work, but I'm guessing that OAuth2 thing is important.

When you make the first connection to the Google calendar, you will be asked to enter the account password in an OAuth window, but for this to work, cookies must be accepted in TB Options/Privacy & Security.

OK, I'm passed that point and Cookies WERE Enabled. I'm still getting a warning message "All Calendars are currently Disabled.....". I've tried to Enable, but the just return to Disabled.
