I can play movies on DVD and Blu Ray discs on my computer just fine. And, if I host an online meeting using Zoom or Free Conference Calls, participants in the meeting can watch the movie. I'm using Windows 10, Firefox 118.0.2.

You need to check with the host site if this is a block or they don't permit streaming as movies on conferences.
