Firefox for Android currently uses a bit too much memory for the original Motorola Droid, and the Droid has a bug that can cause the entire phone to freeze when too much memory is used. We're continuing to work on reducing Firefox's memory usage. If we can reduce it sufficiently, and if Motorola fixes the freezing bug, then we will be able to support Firefox on the Droid. We don't yet have any specific plan for when that might happen.

I appreciate it. Thank you. Not what I hoped to hear but helpful. Perhaps if enough of us pushed on Verizon/Motorola it could happen. I suspect they won't put much effort into it because they want us to purchase the newer models.
