the window which warned before closing mutiple tabs is not coming up when using multiple tabs andI was going to close all at once a window would pop up and warnme that I was about to close them all now it doesnot
the window which would warn me before closing all tabs at once is not coming up anymore. Under options the box is checked for it to warn me
I would greatly appreciate your help.

Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows.
You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.
You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle the value with a double left-click.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
- Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
- Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
- Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.
Firefox does not Warn me when closing multiple tabs because:
- default: never remember history, is set to "Always use private browsing mode" - change to "Use custom settings for history and uncheck:
- Remember my browsing history - Remember download history - Remember search and form history
Bestoffer's solution really works. I would add that uncheck "always use private browsing mode" in addition to unchecking the other 3 items. and click OK then the warning would pop up when closing multiple tabs.
I just wonder why do they change this part of Firefox from version 7 only to make it more confusing and serve no other purple. Or may be it is just a bug that affect the other part of the program.
