Firefox 21.0

Hello,

Since installing FF 21.0 I have been encountering many screen freezes.

I never receive an error message.

Complete loss of control: no mouse functionality, ESC button will not clear the freeze.

I am experiencing 5-10 of these freezes every day. They seem to self-clear in 60 to 240 seconds. Alternatively, I can reboot the computer. Either way, it is a hassle.

Anyone else having this problem?

Any way to solve the problem?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
