Been browsing for three years and using firefox sync for as long as it's been around. Did the stupid thing and let CCleaner run without ring-fencing firefox and now my local history is gone.

I was just wondering if it was at all possible to recover a previously saved version of my browsing history from my firefox sync, since it says that it saves it and seems to have previous versions of my bookmarks?

I've tried a whole bunch of local options, I'm really just looking to see if Firefox Sync can help at all. Thanks.

Sync doesn't synchronize all browsing history. Depending upon how heavy of an internet user you are, my guess is that 3 to 6 months is the maximum you could expect to "recover" - at best.
