Kaspersky URL Advisor, Virtual Keyboard, Dangerous Website Blocker and Safe Money add-ins all will not work if I upgrade to version 33.1.1.

hi kevin, it's always the task of the extension developer to keep an addon compatible with new versions. firefox is released on a fixed 6-week schedule and test versions are made available months in advance so this should be no surprise to any developer - in effect you're paying kaspersky for that, so it's best to contact their support channels about this issue. though most of the time those extensions aren't really necessary, other AV providers like norton are able to release updates for their addons in time.

Kaspersky created their add-ons, it is up to them to keep them up to date with Firefox.

Yeah, post here on a US holiday expecting an answer from an employee ...

This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; few Mozilla employees ever grace us with their presence. And the 4 or 5 that do usually are present Monday thru Friday - non-holidays.

I wasn't expecting an immediate answer edmeister, rather this was the first chance in weeks that I had to approach the subject with Mozilla.

Again, thanks but I will wait for Mozilla to answer.

Ok philipp, let me ping Kaspersky on this and see what they have to say then. Appreciate the feedback and the insight to the release schedule being ebery 6-weeks and test versions being made available months in advance to developers.

Thank you,

Kevin
