Gravatar "Learn more" link says nothing about Gravatar
The Hello contact list says
You can automatically add profile icons to your contacts by sharing their email addresses with Gravatar. Learn more.
When I click "Learn more", I'm sent to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox-hello/ where I can't find any mention of Gravatar.

I did find the gravatar privacy policy here: https://en.gravatar.com/site/privacy
However I can see how this can be misleading. It might be more of https://en.gravatar.com/site/terms-of-service in number 3.
