On a particular website I keep getting this message: A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue. Script: chrome://saff/content/saffplg.js line 593 > eval:392

And, in general I get messages about a script not working and Firefox states "not responding" until the "stop script" message comes up and I click on "stop script".

hello, this issue is caused by the mcafee siteadvisor addon that you have installed. please disable or remove it if it continues to cuase troubles...

no, the antivirus engine running in the background and providing protection for your device isn't affected at all by this. also, you should not be vulnerable while just surfing the web when you keep your browsers and plugins updated...
