I have version 38.2 and after Windows not starting up properly but with no reasons discovered, Thunderbird will not start up. Error message is

C://Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Thunderbird/MSVCP120.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

Should I uninstall and reinstall Thunderbird. Will I lose my contacts? Will I have to set up all my email accounts again?

Thanks.
